Miami Hurricanes Year-End Impressions with College Football Zealots

I recently discussed the 2011 UM football season with Kevin over at College Football Zealots. We talked about impressions of Al Golden after his first season in Coral Gables, talked a little bit about Jacory Harris‘ improvement this year, and looked ahead to next season when the Hurricanes will be replacing several key starters.

Of course, the NCAA investigation came up briefly. When prompted to name the lasting memory of the 2011 season, it was hard not to point to the allegations from He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and the subsequent investigation. Harris’ performance this year will certainly stick out, as will the defense’s improvement towards the end of the year. Then there were the breakthrough campaigns of Lamar Miller and Tommy Streeter.
