It seems that junior Stephen Morris is emerging as the leader in Miami’s quarterback dilemma.
His only competition is Memphis transfer Ryan Williams and freshman Gray Crow and Preston Dewey.
When asked who he thought had the edge in the battle, sophomore wide receiver Phillip Dorestt said, “He’s emerged like 10 times as great as last year…I’ve never seen somebody grow so much in one year. He’s taking that role and he just does not want to lose.”
Morris continues to impress with his big arm and quick feet. Although last season he was prone to interceptions, do not expect to see a repeat. Morris must continue to be poised in the pocket and not force the ball like he has in the past.
