Seantrel Henderson is making news again and it is not for his work ethic.

It had been speculated recently that Henderson suffered a concussion, and I will be the first to admit, ‘how can someone suffer a concussion when they have yet to step foot on the practice field?’

It is now being reported that Henderson has in fact suffered a concussion, but at the expense of a car accident where he was a passenger.

Said head football coach Al Golden, “He’s not fully cleared for action yet…there is a medical issue.  There is what we think is a concussion so we’re being careful with him.”

According to Henderson’s father, “He’s probably going to miss some more practice because of the injury.  I think he’s strong enough to get through all of this.  He’s done some kid stuff, but he’s maturing.  I believe he’s understanding his role as a junior to be a leader on the ream.  His grades are good, his back is fine.  I think he’s in the best shape of his life right now.”

Henderson (6-8, 343) suffered a back injury last season which limited him to seeing action in just eight games.  Fans and coaches alike have big expectations for him and he is an integral part of the offensive line.
