How Kansas State Played Last Week: The Wildcats held a lead of 9-6 at halftime vs. Missouri State.  Kansas State scored 35 points in the fourth quarter and pummeled Missouri State to a tune of 51-9 .  Coach Bill Snyder felt that “we [Kansas State] were horrible in the first 30 minutes…I thought in the second half we played a little better up front defensively.”  QB Colin Klein was effective under center going 19-of-28 for 169 yards and two touchdowns.  The stud QB also rushed for 63 yards on 13 attempts.

The Significance of This Game: Miami is seeking revenge on the Wildcats who came into Sun Life Stadium last year and beat the ‘Canes 28-24.  Senior QB Jacory Harris was stuffed at the goal-line on a fourth-down run with 49 seconds left in the game.  A win in Manhattan would boost the young Hurricanes confidence following a tough two-game road stretch to open the 2012 season.  This is the final game in a series of two pairing the nonconference teams.
