Delray Beach / Atlantic Heritage (FL.) RB Greg Bryant has officially committed to Notre Dame, per ESPN. Bryant (5-10, 200) took an official visit to South Bend this weekend and obviously left impressed – impressed enough to pledge his commitment to Brian Kelly and the Irish.
According to Corey Long, Bryant’s father, Greg Bryant Sr., confirmed that his son will indeed be attending Notre Dame.
The younger Bryant was a one-time Oklahoma commitment but decided to re-open his recruiting. Bryant is ranked the No.2 running back in the ESPN 150 and the No. 7 running back in the 247Composite. He has received offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia and Ohio State, as listed by 247Sports.
When Miami lost 5-star RB Alex Collins, the ‘Canes reached out to Bryant, however their attempts seemed all too late.
Bryant told 247Sports, “Early on I was like ‘yeah I like Miami that could be a place for me’ early on, probably like my junior year. Now I don’t know about them.”
National signing day is still a ways away and anything is possible. As for now, Bryant seems like a long shot for Miami.
