Miami CB Thomas Finnie has found himself suspended indefinitely for his involvement in an on-campus robbery and grand theft in connection to a stolen laptop.  UM released a press release and a mug shot of Finnie has been circulating around the Internet as of late.

According to CBS Sports, “A laptop was reported stolen from a dorm room on Dec. 4, leading to the arrest of another suspect, Del’Neco Streeter.  Streeter attempted to sell the laptop, in person, for $1,000, according to the Coral Gables police department.”

Apparently Finnie was questioned a couple of days later by the Coral Gables police department, but he was not arrested.  He turned himself into police on Tuesday.

This is not the first time that Finnie has been in trouble with the law.  The sophomore was arrested in July for possession of marijuana - no biggie, right?  As long as he is not smokin’ honey badger style.  The most recent charge, however, holds a more severe punishment.

Finnie has been suspended indefinitely but is still listed on UM’s football roster.

The Miami native saw action in every game this season and finished the 2012 season with 30 tackles, 22 solo and one interception.
