University School (FL.) and 247Sports three-star LB Skai Moore has decided to attend Rutgers. According to The Star-Ledger, Moore selected Rutgers over finalists Ohio State, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin and TCU.
The 6-2, 210-pound linebacker took an unofficial visit to UM in April and attended multiple ‘Canes camps, even winning MVP at one, but for one reason or another, Al Golden never offered Moore. He will join his high school teammate, Nick Internicola, at Rutgers.
Moore led his high school team to the FHSAA Class 3A State Championship this past weekend and left victorious. Moore told 247Sports, “The reason why I hadn’t done in the past previous weeks is that I was focusing on the state run with my team.” Moore added, “Once we got the job done in states, I just felt like there was no reason for me to wait any longer…I wanted to get it over with.”
Best of luck to Moore and the Scarlet Knights. Highlights of Moore can be seen here.
