Well this is a bummer ‘Canes fans.  Palm Beach Central WR and long time Miami commit Angelo Jean-Louis has committed to Marshall.

Jean-Louis was a part of Miami’s 2012 class, but due to academic reasons he was forced to attend prep school in order to get his grades up to par.  Apparently, he didn’t get the message.

Recently, Miami backed off of recruiting Jean-Louis and he canceled his visit to UM.  According to the Palm Beach Post, “Academics flagged his test scores and Miami had had enough.  Scrambling, Jean-Louis instead traveled to Huntington, W. Va., where he toured the Marshall campus with his dad.  He loved it, and on Monday, he said he had verbally committed to play for the Thundering Herd.”

Jean-Louis attended Fork Union (Va.) Military Academy and planned to join Miami in 2013.

That is to be no more.  The 6-foot, 185-pound receiver is the real deal.  Marshall definitely got a stellar commit.
