Former Miami Hurricanes RB Mike James and DB Brandon McGee have been invited to participate in the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine, per Hurricane Sports.
James, a native of Haines City Fla., started in all 12 games for Miami during the 2012 season. In his senior season, the standout running back rushed for a career best 621 yards and six touchdowns. James competed in the Senior Bowl, as well as the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. For his career, James totaled 1,386 yards and 17 touchdowns.
McGee, out of Plantation, Fla., also started all 12 of Miami’s games during his senior season. The talented defensive back topped off 2012 with 54 total tackles, 1.0 sack and two interceptions. He participated in the East-West Shrine Game after the season’s end. For his career, McGee amassed 109 total tackles and 3 interceptions.

- Sunday, Feb. 24 — Quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers
- Tuesday, Feb. 26 — Defensive backs
The event will take place in Indianapolis from Feb. 23-26 and will air on the NFL Network.
