Basketball: Canes’ Rank No. 2 In Latest ESPN Power Rankings

After narrowly escaping Clemson with an unblemished conference record, the Miami Hurricanes men’s basketball team has moved up to the No. 2 spot in the latest ESPN Power Rankings.

With then No. 2 Duke losing to an unranked Maryland team, all Miami had to do was beat Clemson to retain their top-three ranking amongst the top teams in the nation.  Easier said than done, right.

Miami narrowly beat Clemson on Saturday night, but a win is a win.

Indiana held on the the No. 1 spot, followed by the Miami Hurricanes, the Florida Gators, the Gonzaga Bulldogs and the Michigan State Spartans, rounding out the top 5.
