Recruiting: Canes’ Add Big WR In Derrick Griffin…Literally

The University of Miami landed a big commitment on Tuesday when Rosenberg, TX. WR Derrick Griffin signed on as part of UM’s 2013 recruiting class.

Following his pledge to the U, Griffin told David Lake of InsideTheU:

The Miami coaches were really excited when I told them I wanted to commit…Miami was always one of my dream schools.  The best players come from Miami and I want to be part of that.”

The talented wide-out is also a highly touted basketball player and admitted that he “wanted to try to play basketball too, so that is a big reason why I like them [Miami] too.”
