With the departure of Mario Cristobal to Alabama, Canes’ head coach Al Golden filled his vacancy with former USF assistant Larry Scott.
Here is a look at how some of the fans and media members reacted to Miami’s latest hiring:

One thing Canes fans should know about Larry Scott: He's the guy that made USF a major player for Stacy Coley.

And the lone USF fan tweeted the following:
Wait, Larry Scott gone to Miami?! [begins breaking things, cursing in different languages]

Judging by some of the tweets above, it would appear that Miami locals, and pundits alike, approve of Golden’s latest hire. Being from Florida, Scott has connections throughout the state and he will undoubtedly be a force to be reckoned with on the recruiting trail — just like Cristobal was expected to be.
