Basketball: Miami Hurricanes Will Begin ACC Tournament Play On Friday

The No. 1 seed Miami Hurricanes (24-6, 15-3 ACC) will open the ACC Tournament on Friday at noon against Thursday’s first-round winner Georgia Tech vs. Boston College.

Miami beat Georgia Tech 62-49 on Jan. 5 in their first meeting.  However, Georgia Tech managed to upset the Hurricanes with a buzzer-beater, 71-69, on Mar. 6.

Miami beat Boston College 60-59 on Jan. 16 and again 72-50 on Feb. 5.

Georgia Tech holds the No. 8 seed while Boston College is the No. 9 seed for the 2013 ACC Tournament.
