While Miami Hurricanes’ G Shane Larkin mulls over his future plans, Hurricanes’ fans will have to wait until 6 p.m. on Sunday when Larkin will make his announcement.
Larkin wanted to clear up any rumors regarding his decision and tweeted the following:
There have been rumblings recently that Larkin may in fact move on to the NBA, but again, this is merely speculation.
Should Larkin enter the NBA Draft, CBSSports has the sophomore going as the No. 44 overall pick.
The 5’11″, 176-pound guard had an outstanding 2012-13 season for the Hurricanes’ averaging 14.5 points per game, 3.8 rebounds per game and 4.6 assists per game.
As a sophomore, Larkin was named the Lute Olsen Player of the Year, Bob Cousy Award finalist (top 5), Wooden Award finalist (top 15), ACC Player of the Year (Coaches, Sports Illustrated, ESPN), All-ACC First Team (ASCMA, Coaches, ESPN), All-ACC Defensive Team (ASCMA, Coaches), ACC Tournament MVP and ACC All-Tournament First Team.
