Football: ACC Championship Game And Early Game Times Announced

The ACC announced the 2013 Dr. Pepper ACC Football Championship Game time, as well as many of the early season ACC match-ups.

The 2013 ACC Championship Game will be played in Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium on Sat., Dec. 7.  The game will be televised nationally on ESPN at 7:45 p.m., or on ABC at 8 p.m.

Opening Weekend Match-Ups

  • North Carolina vs. South Carolina – Thursday, Aug. 29, 6 p.m. (ESPN)
  • Miami vs. FAU – Friday, Aug. 30, 8 p.m. (ESPNU)
  • Virginia vs. BYU – Saturday, Aug. 31, 3:30 p.m. (ESPNU)
  • Virginia Tech vs. Alabama – Saturday, Aug. 31, 5:30 p.m. (ESPN)
  • Clemson vs. Georgia - Saturday, Aug. 31, 8 p.m. (ABC)
  • Florida State vs. Pitt – Labor Day, 8 p.m. (ESPN)

  • Wake Forest vs. Boston College – Friday, Sept. 6, 8 p.m. (ESPN)
  • Florida vs. Miami – Saturday, Sept. 7, Noon (ESPN)
  • Oregon vs. Virginia – Saturday, Sept. 7, 3:30 p.m. (ABC or ESPN 2)
  • Nevada vs. Florida State – Sept. 14, 3:30 p.m. (ESPN or ESPN2)

    What ESPN/ABC should have done is move the Oregon/UVa game to Noon, and our game with UF back to 3:30.
