Herndon (6-4, 230) became the Hurricanes fourth commitment on Saturday, following LB Mike Smith, WR Dennis Turner and LB Darrion Owens, as UM continues to shred the recruiting scene.
The Norcross, GA. native chose Miami over Mississippi State and Western Kentucky.
The 3-star Herndon is ranked the No. 64 tight end and No. 125 prospect in the State of Georgia, per the 247Composite. He becomes the Hurricanes first tight end commitment in the 2014 class.
