Football: AP Preseason Top 25 Rankings Released

In what should come as no surprise, Alabama will begin the 2013 football season at No. 1 as they continue their quest for three straight national championships.

Under head coach Nick Saban, the back-to-back national champs will try to become the first team in NCAA history to win three straight.

The Crimson Tide received 58 first-place votes, while Ohio State received one vote and will begin the season in the No. 2 spot.

Oregon comes in at No. 3, followed by Stanford and Georgia, who also received one first-place vote.

The Miami Hurricanes are ranked No. 29 in the AP preseason rankings and received 85 votes, while Michigan State came in at No. 26, followed by Baylor and Virginia Tech.
