Senior (Miami/Central) RB and Miami Hurricanes’ 2014 commit Joseph Yearby has been presented with his honorary Under Armour All-American jersey during an event held at his school this past week.
Yearby (5-9, 190), who is a consensus four-star prospect, has been committed to Miami since Feb. and is ranked the No. 6 running back in the nation and the No. 6 recruit in the state of Florida (247Composite).
“First off, I want to thank God because without God all of this wouldn’t be possible,” Yearby told ESPN. “I would like to thank my momma, my brother, the coaches, the principal and the staff for pushing me…I want to thank y’all.”
Yearby will join fellow Miami Hurricanes’ commits Kc McDermott (Palm Beach Central), Chad Thomas (Booker T. Washington), Trevor Darling (Miami/Central) and Braxton Berrios (Leesville Road) in the 2014 Under Armour All-American game.
The Under Armour All-American game will showcase some of the best talent in the nation, some of whom will commit to the school of their choice during the game.
