Miami Picks Up Commitment From 2016 Four-Star WR Dionte Mullins

This Fourth of July, the Miami staff is celebrating Al Golden’s birthday and independence day with a commitment from a highly-touted wide receiver. 2016 Four-star WR Dionte Mullins out of Gulliver Prep decided to spark some fireworks and commit to the Miami Hurricanes.

Mullins is highly regarded as one of the top wide receivers in the country and Miami had to beat a lot of top schools for his services. Schools like Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, and Florida State were all trying to woe Mullins into their programs.

Last week, the Canes announced they had hired Mullins’ former high school coach, and I’m sure that had something to do with his decision, so that’s a big hire for the staff. Mullins also took a visit to Miami and said he “loved it” and that the school always “felt like home”.

Miami is going to have to hold on to the 5’11” receiver for a couple of years, but this should give fans a lot of optimism.

Mullins gives Miami their fourth commitment of the 2016 class, and if the start to this class is any indication, the 2016 class is going to be absolutely loaded.

If you want to check out some more tape on the Gulliver product, HERE is his sophomore year highlight page. Yes, he really is a sophomore.

WELCOME TO THE U, DIONTE.
