2016 WR Ahmmon Richards Commits To Miami

After about a week and a half of silence, the Miami staff gets yet another 2016 wide receiver in their area. This time it was 2016 Wellington Community High School WR Ahmmon Richards that gave a verbal commitment to the staff early Tuesday afternoon and became the seventh commit of the class and the fourth at his position.

Richards is a 6’2” 170 pound receiver that has decent speed, but he just finds a way to get open, which is clearly important, especially for a young receiver. At 170-ish pounds, Richards will have to put on more weight, but he’s going to be a high school junior this upcoming year so that shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

The West Palm Beach product is ranked as a four-star on ESPN, and a three-star on 247sports, but again, he has two full years of high school left to improve his stock. A real solid get for the staff and another playmaker to add to this class, which is the number one class in the country so far.

Richards joins Dionte Mullins, Sam Bruce and Dredrick Snelson as the other wide receivers committed for the 2016 class. Quarterback commit Jack Allison has to be smiling at all these weapons.

If you want to check out some tape on Richards, HERE is his hudl page.

WELCOME TO THE U, AHMMON.
