Miami Hurricanes vs North Carolina Tar Heels: Live Steaming and Game Info

facebooktwitterreddit

The 16th Ranked Miami Hurricanes host the North Carolina Tar Heels Saturday Afternoon in a key ACC Coastal Division Matchup at Hard Rock Stadium. The ‘Canes and Heels will meet for the 20th time Saturday afternoon. UNC leads the all-time series 10-9.

The Tar Heels pasted Miami 59-21 last season. The Hurricanes have captured four of the last six and had their own blowout at home two years ago, beating the Tar Heels 47-20. It has been a tight series with the longest winning streak at three games once each.

Both teams are hoping to bounce back after tough losses last week. The Hurricanes squandered a chance to get their first win against Florida State in seven years when the Seminoles blocked Michael Badgley’s extra point. That kept the ‘Canes from tying the game after Brad Kaaya connected with Stacy Coley from 21 yards out with 1:38 remaining.

North Carolina was on the other end of the spectrum. The Tar Heels were blown out at home 34-3 by Virginia Tech. The game was played in the remnants of Hurricane Matthew that brought five inches of rain to Chapel Hill.

The Tar Heels loss plummeted them from 16/17 to out of the top 25.  The Hurricanes maybe doubly ironic fell from tenth and replaced the Tar Heels at 16/17.
