A ton of buzz has transpired upon the Miami Hurricane program over the last year. Mark Richt has essentially propelled the Hurricanes into the national consciousness while keeping his heart home in Miami.

With a Russell Athletic Bowl win now in the rear view mirror, Canes Warning takes a look to the future. Hop in your orange and green DeLorean and learn a few new names who are sure to pay dividends this upcoming season.

George Brown Jr. is a native of Cincinnati Ohio and initially pledged to LSU out of high school. Brown had to sit out last season due to the NCAA transfer policy. Originally ranked a four star recruit on 247sports composite, Brown decided to take his talents to South Beach from Baton Rouge.

Brown Jr has good burst off the ball and shows good player strength. He displays the ability to aggressively finish plays. Hurricane line coach Stacy Searels has put an emphasis on tenacity and it seems Brown Jr shows his teeth.

You cannot miss this 6-7 behemoth. With such a highly publicized offensive line class brought in by the Hurricanes in 2017, Brown bolsters the proposition. Already a year into the program, look for Brown to challenge at left tackle and emerge as the potential starter.
