Where are the Miami Hurricanes Likely to Go in NFL Draft?
On the heels of being named the best NFL factory by ESPN, nearly 15 Miami Hurricanes will be eagerly awaiting to hear their name called in the NFL Draft.
The draft begins Thursday night and continues through Saturday in its first year in Philadelphia after two years in Chicago. Tight end David Njoku should be the first Hurricane to hear his name called. Quarterback Brad Kaaya, Guard Danny Isidora or Cornerback Corn Elder is the most likely Cane to go next.
Miami lost a ton in the secondary. At a minimum, they should have two players selected with the possibility of up to four going. Other players to watch are wide receiver Stacy Coley, punter Justin Vogel and fullback Marquez Williams who could be a sleeper.
Things should get back to normal after only two Hurricanes were drafted last season. Cornerback Artie Burns went in the first round to Pittsburgh and safety Deon Bush was a fourth-round pick by Chicago.
Two old but familiar names will also hope to hear their names called. Defensive Lineman Al-Quadin Muhammad and Linebacker Jermaine Grace were kicked off the team last summer with former Hurricane linebacker Juwon Young who transferred to Marshall. After sitting out last season, they are more likely to be free agents invited to camp.
