It seems not that long ago that the Miami football program was back to college football relevance after rising to second in the College Football Playoff poll.

The Miami football team was heading to Charlotte to beat Clemson in the ACC title game. The Hurricanes destroyed a solid Notre Dame team 41-8 and the Hurricanes were looking good. Unfortunately, Miami stumbled against a mediocre Pitt team and seemingly fell into a downward spiral.

The Miami football team ironically squeaked out a one-point win versus Georgia Tech which was the low point in 2017 and that will keep them out of the ACC title game this year. The low point of the 2019 season was the loss to a two-win Georgia Tech team.

For those lucky enough to attend the November 11, 2017 win over Notre Dame it was one of the most enjoyable College football games in recent Miami football history. Saturday night’s win against Louisville was very reminiscent of that Notre Dame victory.

Miami’s offense was a scoring machine with Jarren Williams showing everybody the talent that he possesses. Williams literally put on a clinic, throwing up touchdown pass after touchdown pass to where Miami has scored the most points in ages. Welcome to the records books Jarren.

This was a team struggling to score 20 points last season. Over this season I’ve offered some controversial predictions which are admittedly based solely on personal opinions. I never claimed to be anything more than a highly biased fan who wants to see my team do the best they possibly can.

This is the only reason I write articles at all so if I sound a little biased I am the first to admit that I am and that said I think this Canes team is going to run the table going forward the rest of the season.
