North Carolina State offensive lineman Rico Jackson has been upgraded from out to questionable on the Friday Student-Athlete Availability Reporting update as the only change for the Wolfpack or Miami from the initial report on Thursday.

Jackson has played in all nine games for North Carolina State in 2025 and started the last two at guard. The upgrade of Jackson is significant for North Carolina State, with regular Wolfpack starting guards Anthony Carter Jr. and Spike Sowells also questionable for Saturday.

Cornerback O.J. Frederique, defensive back Keionte Scott and running back Mark Fletcher Jr. are starters out for Miami on Saturday. Reserve wide receiver Tony Johnson will also be out for the Hurricanes. Miami defensive tackle David Blay of questionable against North Carolina State.

Noticably missing from the Friday Student-Athlete Availability Reporting update for Miami are defensive tackle Ahmad Moten and wide receiver C.J. Daniels. Daniels and Moten both missed the games against SMU and Syracuse with injuries.

North Carolina State will be without starters, linebacker Sen Brown and safety Brody Barnhardt and reserve linebacker A.J. Richardson. Safety Ronnie Royal III, running back Hollywood Smothers and tight end Justin Joly are starters for NC State who are questionable against Miami.

North Carolina State LB Tra Thomas will miss the first half after he was ejected from the Wolfpack's win over Georgia Tech in the second half on November 14 for targeting. Cian Stone and Thomas are the co-starters at the jack position as listed by NC State. Stone is third on NC State with 44 tackles, and has 5.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.

CharMar Brown and Jordan Lyle project to share most of the carries for Miami. True freshman Girard Pringle is also likely to get some carries for Miami. Depth at CB will be an issue with O.J. Frederique and Scott out. Damari Brown and Ethan O'Connor are likely to receive an increase in snaps to play with Xavier Lucas.
