Ten different Miami players were invited to the NFL Combine later this month as announced on Monday. Seven Miami offensive players are invited to the NFL Combine, two on defense plus kicker Andres Borregales. The 2025 NFL Combine is scheduled for Thursday, February 27 – Sunday, March 2 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
The Miami NFL Combine invitees are quarterback Cam Ward wide receivers Xavier Restrepo, Jacolby George and Sam Brown, running back Damien Martinez, tight end Elijah Arroyo offensive lineman Jalen Rivers, defensive lineman Tyler Baron, linebacker Francisco Mauigoa and Borregales.
Miami defensive tackle Simeon Barrow who earned first-team All-ACC is a surprising omission from the NFL Combine. After finishing first nationally averaging 43.9 points per game and with 537.2 yards per game it was not surprising that seven of the 10 Miami NFL Combine invitees are on offense.
Mauigoa and safety Mishael Powell earned second-team All-ACC from the Miami defense. Restrepo and Ward were consensus first-team All-Americans. Ward earned multiple individual awards including being a Heisman Trophy finalist and the ACC Player of the Year.

Barrow is projected as a fifth-round pick. Ward is projected as the only first-round pick from Miami in the 2025 NFL Draft. Brown and George are the only Miami NFL Combine invitees who the NFL Mock Draft Database projects as undrafted free agents. Arroyo and Restrepo are projected as third-round picks.
Among the Miami NFL Combine invitees, Borregales is projected to be a fourth-round pick, Baron and Martinez are projected to go in the fifth round and Mauigoa and Rivers are expected to be selected in the seventh round. With these prospects, Miami is poised for its most successful draft since Mario Cristobal was hired in December 2021.
