True freshman running back Girard Pringle is the only addition to the Miami Student-Athlete Availability Reporting update on Friday. Miami lists five players as out and five as questionable, which includes Pringle. The Florida State injury report remains the same as the initial one released on Thursday.
Florida State lists three players as out, three as questionable and four as probable for Saturday versus Miami. The most significant names on the Florida State injured list are quarterback Tommy (as he is listed) Castellanos and running back Roydell Williams, who are both probable.
Castellanos suffered a minor lower-leg injury against Kent State on September 20, but played the entire game in the 46-38 double overtime loss at Virginia last week. Williams has not played since he had six carries for 14 yards in the 31-17 Florida State season-opening win over Alabama.
Florida State lists Gavin Sawchuk and Williams as the co-first team RBs against Miami. Williams had 560 rushing yards and five touchdowns in 2023 for Alabama before transferring to Florida State during the 2024 portal cycle. Williams had only 53 rushing yards in 2024.

The above list is from the initial availability report for Saturday released by the ACC on Thursday. Most noticeable for Miami is the absence of RB Jordan Lyle and WR JoJo Trader not on the list for Miami. Lyle and Trader were reportedly healthy for Miami's last two games but did not play.
Defensive back Ashlynd Barker is another significant FSU player on the injured list. Barker has 13 tackles, 2.0 TFLs, 2.0 sacks and 2.0 passes defended in 2025 and is a starting safety. Shyheim Brown is the backup to Barker on the Florida State depth chart.
Miami is mostly healthy entering the game on Saturday. How healthy Lyle and Trader are and their availability on Saturday will be the most anticipated development for Miami regarding injuries for the game against Florida State.
