Three-star defensive lineman Kendrick Norton
Kendrick Norton is one of those talented defensive tackles that the staff absolutely needs to get in every class. Norton is one of my favorite targets in the class, and not just because of the obvious need. Norton is big inside, and has the ability to line up on the edge, as well. The big 6’3”305 pound Norton also played guard in high school, so his skills are a little bit raw — still good, but raw.
Norton took an official visit to Auburn this past week and it reportedly got Miami and Auburn “neck and neck” heading into the last two days of his recruitment. Norton has always loved Miami, and that could be the deciding factor in Miami’s favor. He, however, always liked Florida and now with Will Muschamp and T-Rob on board at Auburn, they have jumped back into the picture and could come away with a steal.
It looks like a Miami vs. Auburn battle for Norton.
