Joseph Jackson is another player that can make an immediate impact on Miami’s defense. Jackson has incredible size and power coming off the edge and is one of the top defensive linemen in the country. Like Quarterman, Jackson is under-ranked in my opinion. For comparison, 247sports has Jackson rated as the 6th best defensive end and 134th overall. As Jackson continues to show his physical dominance as a senior, his ranking should rise. Jackson is very athletic for his size and actually plays receiver as well.
