Miami Hurricanes Football: The Five Worst Miami Uniforms Of the Nike Era

Okay, so this uniform all in itself wasn’t horrible, but there are some things that I just never got behind with.
First, I didn’t like the helmet. It looked like it was constantly dirty and the smoke design in the back just didn’t work for me. It looked like a tornado more than anything and it just didn’t feel right.
The jerseys themselves were fresh and I’m glad they brought those back when they [Nike] revealed the new uniforms last season.
BUT, as nice as the jerseys were, they absolutely destroyed the look when they put “Hurricanes” on the back of every players uniform. This isn’t a high school program, please use their names. I saw a “Blessed” and “Humble” jersey at the Miami 7-on-7 tournament and this is the first uniform I thought of. That’s not a good thing.
