With a whirlwind of consistent negativity surrounding the program conducted by fans, there is some room for optimism. The Miami Hurricanes face a formidable schedule in 2015 as they go against opponents such as Nebraska, Georgia Tech, Clemson, and Florida State. However, like every year, there is a shot to win the Coastal Division in the ACC, even though Miami has been chosen by the media to finish 3rd in the coastal.

Lets face it, Miami lost 6 players to the NFL draft, including two first rounders. Yet fans and others, question how in the world did the Canes finish 6-7 with players like Duke Johnson, Denzel Perryman, Clive Walford, and Phillip Dorsett? Al Golden faces a season that seems like a “make it or break it” year. In the spring, players and coaches told the media that there have been significant changes to the style of defense and philosophy of the team.

There has been talk that there is less selfishness and more team chemistry in the locker room. Players are holding other players accountable, according to Brad Kaaya. This is all good talk, but it’s time to see results.

Why not Miami?
