Everyone criticizes the 3-4 2 gap scheme that Mark D’Onofrio implores. However, there is some good news. Miami finally has the depth and type of players needed to run this particular scheme, supposedly modeled after the Seattle Seahawks defense.
Kirby said some of the film he watches is the Seattle Seahawks, because UM's D and Seattle D are similar in setup.
