#87, TE Jerome Washington: 6’5-264

Standish Dobard was named Miami’s starting tight end with Jerome Washington and Jake O’Donnell listed as co-second teamers behind him.  Washington is Miami’s biggest tight end at 264lbs and will be involved in some of the multi-tight end packages that the Canes’ have added to the offense this year. Miami Hurricanes’ Offensive Coordinator, James Coley, even incorporated some wrinkles in which the Canes line up with 4 tight ends on the field at once. Jerome Washington will be a big part of these sets as he is one of the most physical tight ends on the roster. If Jerome Washington can continue to improve his pass catching skills, he has the ability to be another big time weapon for Brad Kaaya and the Miami offense.
