Miami Hurricanes Football: Eight True Freshman Crack Initial Two-Deep

Sheldrick Redwine is an extremely talented player and Miami is pretty thin at corner, so it was no surprise when he cracked the initial two-deep on this week’s depth chart. Miami’s top corner is Artie Burns and Sheldrick Redwine is listed right behind him. Redwine has great cover skills and at 6’1, he is the tallest corner on the depth chart. From the very beginning of camp, it was clear that Redwine had all of the tools needed to play right away. In both interviews and during practices, coaches continuously raved about his performance and ability to perform as a freshman. Sheldrick Redwine is one of those guys that can only be described as a true football player. He has all of the physical and mental tools at his disposal and should be a big part of Miami’s secondary this year.
