What’s your win/loss prediction?

Juan Toribio: I fight with this question every year, but this season seems to be even tougher. The team has so much talent, but they also have a pretty brutal schedule. With that said, I’m gonna go with an 9-4 record this year, which includes a bowl win. It won’t be enough to quiet down the fans, but winning a bowl game will be a pretty good feeling and it’ll keep some recruiting momentum alive. I can also see 10-2 and 7-5. This should be an interesting year.

Harry Kroll: The schedule has a ridiculous amount of volatility as there are really only two guaranteed wins and zero completely guaranteed losses. I see 7-5 as the final total, with 8-4 being a little more likely than 6-6.

Daniel Gould: 9-3 before the bowl game, with losses to Virginia Tech (their DL is going smash our OL), Clemson (though we actually match up pretty well here), and Georgia Tech (Justin Thomas is too good). And those losses probably mean we don’t win the Coastal. But have a chance at 10 wins.

Shanon Culiner: You may think I’m crazy, but we’ll be: 10-4 (losses to FSU, Clemson and GT, but somehow win the coastal. Lose to FSU in the ACC Championship game and YES, win a bowl game under Golden to secure his job). We’ll be under the radar, but surprise many.

Daniel Nordwall: It’s difficult to predict the outcome of the season. Should you expect Golden to fold in big games or finally turn it around? I think Miami wins 8-10 games this season. An ideal record would be 10-3, but I think fans would be happy with a Coastal title and appearance in the ACC championship game.

Sam Jacobs: This looks like a 7-5 season to me. Not that the schedule is loaded with powerhouses, but there are just so many losable games. This Hurricanes team is probably less talented than those of the past few season’s, too. Sorry for the pessimism.

Justin Fessenden: I’ve been so back and forth with this. I’ve mainly been stuck between 7 wins and 9 wins, so I’ll go with an 8-4 regular season record. If you want to include the bowl game, I say the Canes finally get a bowl game victory and finish the season 9-4. Unfortunately, I think Georgia Tech will be Coastal Champs this season. I hope I’m wrong and the 2001 Canes become reincarnated and win every game.
