5. Miami players have labeled this as a “revenge” game. Do you think Miami gets revenge and beats Nebraska, or does Nebraska come out on top yet again. What’s your score prediction?

Juan Toribio: I think Miami gets the job done on Saturday. I honestly just think the ‘Canes are better than the Huskers and it might take some time, but they’ll eventually prove it on the field. I predicted 35-27 in my preview post, so I’m going to stick to that prediction. Big day for Kaaya.

Daniel Gould: There will be ugly parts of this game, but the defense will show up big and the offense will show up enough to win this game. Miami wins 27-17.

Shanon Culiner: This is a trap question! If you were to just look at Miami’s record and scores from the past 2 games without knowing much, you’d probably think, “sure, they’d beat a 1 and 1 Nebraska team at home.” However, as much as we may think Miami wants to revenge their loss against Nebraska last year, I’m sure the Cornhuskers would like to revenge their loss to BYU in their 2015 season-opener. And, well, we saw how Ameer Abdullah ran on Miami last year, and we saw how FAU (clear my throat) ran on Miami last week, and…Saturday could be a long day for both the ‘Canes and ‘Canes fans. But, screw it, Miami wins 45-28.

Justin Fessenden: Prior to the game vs. FAU, I was extremely confident that the Canes would beat Nebraska. Sad to say, the way the Canes played the first half vs. FAU completely changed my mind. Yes, that one half of football scared the crap out of me. Maybe I’m overreacting, I don’t know. Unfortunately, I feel like Nebraska comes out on top once again. I don’t like our matchups on either side of the ball. Hopefully the Canes will feed off the home crowd (yes, it will be rocking!) and come out victorious. I’d love to be wrong on my prediction. Score: 30-27 Nebraska

Daniel Nordwall: Hopefully Miami proves that they are a different team than they were last year. They failed to show up in big time games last year. Luckily, Nebraska doesn’t have too much fire power like they did last year with Ameer Abdullah.I think this year will be different starting this weekend. Miami wins in a close game 24-21.
