Mario Cristobal

I like this pick very much and he wouldn’t come with a high price tag. I don’t know about you, but I see Alabama doing an amazing job recruiting and a big part of that comes from this guy, Mario Cristobal.

Cristobal is a Miami guy who knows Miami football. He was born and raised in Miami, played for the Miami Hurricanes, won 2 National Championships as a First Team, All-Big East offensive lineman with the ‘Canes and has even coached at Miami.

And, he knows how to be a head coach. When Cristobal took over the coaching position at Florida International they were a joke. And after some time, the Golden Panthers were winning bowl games, winning a conference championship and producing NFL talent.

He’s also had the opportunity to learn under one of the best college coaches in Nick Saban. Thus, he could bring what he’s learned from some serious SEC play back to “The U”.
