Though hiring Georgia’s current head coach may seem like a stretch, it’s actually not that far-fetched.

Richt is in his 15th season as the Bulldogs’ leader, but many are calling for him to be fired. Though year after year Richt loads the Bulldogs with talent and they’re a force to be reckoned with in the SEC, he’s never won a National Title and has won the SEC conference only twice. This year, Georgia has already lost two games and they were both conference games (Tennessee and Alabama).

He already runs a similar “Pro-Style” offense as Miami and would hopefully oversee a serious makeover at defense for the ‘Canes.

Richt also has some serious ties to Miami. He graduated from Boca Raton High School (Boca Raton, FL) and played quarterback for yes, the Miami Hurricanes in the early 1980s (primarily a back-up to Jim Kelly).
