Juwon Young

Young may make the most impact for the ‘Canes now that Kirby’s season is finished.

Not only did the coaching staff throw Young in at the “Mike” (middle linebacker) position, but he also played tremendously well against the Hokies. He recorded 4 tackles (1 tackle for a 3-yard loss) and made a drive-ending interception.

A true sophomore, Young made his 2015 season debut against Nebraska where he made 2 tackles and against Cincy made 7 tackles.

Though Young may be young, as a freshman he saw (limited) playing time.

Young is listed at 6’2″ and 245 pounds out of Albany High School (Albany, GA) where he was a 3-star recruit. And, chose Miami over Ole Miss and North Carolina.
