Deshaun Watson – Quarterback

Watson has been dynamic at quarterback and one of the main reasons why the Clemson Tigers are so deadly on offense.

A dual threat quarterback, Watson can give any defense fits. So, it doesn’t help that Miami’s defense has struggled in the running attack.

Watson has thrown for 1,410 yards and 14 touchdowns, averaging 235 yards per game this season. And, he’s rushed 56 times for a net of 234 yards and 2 touchdowns.

If there’s any knock on Watson it’s that he’ll turn the ball over. He’s already thrown 7 interceptions on the year. And, with a ‘Canes defense owning a 11 interceptions this season, I’m hoping Watson will make some crucial mistakes.

Only a sophomore, Watson was a 5-star recruit out of Gainesville High School (Gainesville, GA).
