Dorsey had one of the most successful careers at Miami and he’s arguably considered the best college quarterback out of all that had come to The U before him.

As the starting quarterback, Dorsey had a record of 38-2 and led the ‘Canes to a National Championship Title (2001 season; against the Nebraska Cornhuskers) and went on to lose the following National Championship game (after a controversial call in double-overtime against Ohio State).

Dorsey broke nearly every passing record at Miami and was a two-time Heisman Trophy Finalist.

He was drafted in the seventh round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers and played in the NFL for six years with both San Francisco and the Cleveland Browns.

Dorsey was inducted into the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame in 2013.

He’s currently the quarterbacks coach for the Carolina Panthers.
