Randall Hill
“Thrill” Hill played for The U from 1987 to 1990 and was great as both a receiver and kickoff returner.
Playing wide receiver for 3 years (1988 – 1990), Hill had 1,643 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns. He returned kickoffs for 1,169 yards.
Hill was part of two National Championships at Miami (1987 & 1989).
The Miami Dolphins drafted Hill in the first round (23rd overall) and he played in the NFL for 7 seasons.
Devin Hester
Hester is one of the most electrifying athletes in football.
He played for the ‘Canes from 2003 to 2005 and was lined up on all sides of the ball … offense, defense and special teams.
During his time at Miami, Hester finished with 4 punt returns for touchdowns, 2 kickoff returns for touchdowns, a blocked field goal for a touchdown, a rushing touchdown and 5 interceptions on defense.
He was a First-Team All-American his sophomore year for his kickoff return ability.
Hester was drafted in the second-round (57th overall) by the Chicago Bears and currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons.
So far, he’s played 9 seasons in the NFL and has already been to the Pro Bowl four-times, a three-time NFL Alumni Special Teams Player of the Year, an ESPY Breakthrough Player of the Year and the NFL’s All-Time Punt Return Touchdown Leader.
