Phillip Buchanon
Buchanon played for the Miami Hurricanes from 1999 to 2001.
In his junior season, Buchanon was First-Team All-BIG EAST, a First-Team All-American, a Mosi Tatupi Award Finalist and a National Champion.
Besides being a stud on defense, he also was a prolific return specialist.
Buchanon decided to forgo his senior season and he was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the first round (17th overall).
He played 10 seasons in the NFL for teams such as the Houston Texans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions and Washington Redskins.
Antrel Rolle
Rolle played for the ‘Canes from 2001 to 2004 and during the National Championship season, he was one of four true freshman to letter at Miami.
Rolle earned First-Team All-BIG EAST in his sophomore season. In his senior season, he was a unanimous First-Team All-American, First-Team All-ACC, Jack Tatum Trophy winner, Thurman Munson Award Winner, Jim Thorpe Award Finalist, Chuck Bednarik Award Finalist, Bronko Nagurski Trophy Finalist, Lombardi Award Finalist and a Lott IMPACT Trophy Finalist.
He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinal in the first round (8th overall) and he’s currently in his eleventh season with the New York Giants (recently moving to the Safety position).
Thus far, Rolle has made the Pro Bowl three-times and he’s a Super Bowl Champion (XLVI).
