You feel that cold-weathered games are seriously unfair.

If you’re from South Florida (and most ‘Canes players are) you’re used to temperatures in the 80’s & 90’s, sun-shine, humidity and rain.

However, cold-weather is a rarity, even in the winter months.

So, to say, Miami football players aren’t exactly used to cold climates would be a truthful statement.

In fact, I remember the 2009 Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando, Fl between Miami and the Wisconsin Badgers. Though it was played in Florida, temperatures dropped to the 50s and most ‘Canes players wore long-sleeves, turtle necks, face-guards and hand warmers. They looked like fish out of the water, while most Badgers’ players elected to not wear any additional undergarments. Miami lost, 20-14.
