Basketball Team on the Rise

Thanks to UM’s basketball head coach Jim Larranaga, Miami has been one of the best basketball squads both in the country and in the ACC (arguably the toughest conference in the country).

They’re currently ranked No. 15 (AP Top 25) with a record of 15-3 and have beaten the likes of: (No. 24) Duke, (No.16) Utah, (No. 22) Butler, Florida and Nebraska. They’re playing really well to say the least.

As a Miami football commit, there really isn’t anything better than heading over to a packed arena, catching one of your other teams blowing out opponents during your offseason.

Under Larranaga, Miami has had a record of 107-52 (.673) and have reached a “Sweet Sixteen”.

A school usually not known for its basketball,  Coach L has Miami now considered a basketball destination.

With future top high school recruits committed to The U for basketball, plan on seeing Miami make many future runs in the “Big Tourney”.
