It’s finally here! 2016 National Signing Day has arrived and the Miami Hurricanes are set to have a pretty busy way, one way or another. Mark Richt and his inaugural staff have done a great job in limited time, now it’s time to find out how much their work really paid off.

On this page, we’ll update every time a kid makes a decision that involves Miami, and we’ll update every time a kid faxes in his National Letter of Intent. Or if a kid’s mom is running away with one.

The Hurricanes have five kids that enrolled early so a lot of Miami’s work is already done, but they still have a lot of key targets that will be announcing today, including former commit Ahmmon Richards, who will be announcing around noon time.

It’s finally that time for the Hurricanes, let’s hope it’s a good one.

Travis Homer is the first person to send in his Letter of Intent. Welcome to the U, Travis!

Next one up: safety Jeff James. Welcome to the U!

This is a special one for Canes fans, Sam Bruce’s letter is officially in! He wasn’t going to leave the “brib”.

Next one is another St. Thomas Aquinas player and a familiar name for ‘Canes fans: Michael Irvin Jr. is a Cane.

Defensive tackle Tyreic Martin is officially a Cane!

Romeo Finley announced last night through Twitter, but he’s now OFFICIALLY a Cane! Welcome to the U!

The Gulliver Prep trio is officially in. Welcome to the U, Cedrick, Joseph, Dionte!

Malek Young is in!

Fast rising offensive lineman Tre Johnson is also officially a Cane!

New Jersey tight end Jovani Haskins also wasted little time and committed to the Hurricanes.

Unfortunately for the Hurricanes, not everything has been good today.

Three-star wide receiver Latrell Williams flipped his commitment from Miami to Tennessee. This is the second commit that the Vols steal in consecutive days from Miami. Larry Scott was his main recruiter at Tennessee, so it’s no surprise.

Also, defensive tackle target Kobe Jones decided to stay home and pledged to Mississippi State. James Pierre also honored his commitment and decided to stay with North Carolina instead of flipping to Miami.

Now it becomes a waiting game for Ahmmonn Richards.

Miami wins the battle for Ahmmonn Richards! Richards re-commits to the Canes and picked Miami over Alabama and Auburn. Huge get for Miami.
