The Miami Hurricanes Bye week gives UM fans a chance to focus their attention elsewhere this week. Here are five games that should get Hurricanes fans attention and could have an impact on the ‘Canes season.

During their 3-0 start, the Hurricanes have outscored their opponents 153-23, for an average of 51-7.7. The schedule gets a lot tougher as they begin the ACC schedule plus Notre Dame. The ‘Canes first conference game is at 3-0 Georgia Tech who defeated Boston College 17-14 in their ACC and season opener. That gave the Yellow Jackets a quick 1-0 start in the ACC.

Georgia Tech received 17 points in the AP Poll this week to place them 35th. The ‘Canes nine remaining opponents have a record of 12-9. The ‘Canes need to keep their eye on what’s ahead of them. If they focus on winning the Coastal, good things beyond that can happen.

The game against Georgia Tech is a bigger game than it appeared heading into the season. The Yellow Jackets and Virginia Tech are tied at 1-0 to lead the Coastal.
