No. 3 Louisville at Marshall, 8 p.m., CBS Sports Network

A week after completely dismantling Florida State, the Cardinals could face a trap game at Marshall. The Thundering Herd is off to a 1-1 start. They beat FCS Morgan State 62-0 in their season opener two weeks ago and lost 65-38 to Akron last week. Akron is playing Appalachian State this week.

The game could be a shootout. Louisville leads the country in total offense and scoring offense at 65 points per game. Doc Holiday’s Herd are 12th in total offense and sixth in scoring at 50 points per game.

Jackson is the clear favorite to win the Heisman through three weeks. He is 15th in the country in passing yards, second in total offense, first in rushing yards per carry and rushing touchdowns, second in rushing yards, and second in scoring.

Jackson has had plenty of help. Running Back Brandon Radcliffe has 296 yards rushing to rank 23rd nationally and three touchdowns. Nine different Cardinals have a receiving touchdown this season.

Chase Litton has the trigger to Holiday’s offense. Litton has thrown for 722 yards, ten touchdowns, and three interceptions through the Herd’s first two games. He ranks sixth nationally in passing yards per game.

Hyleck Foster and Keion Davis lead the ground game. Litton really spreads the ball around through the air. Six different receivers have caught a touchdown pass and four have over 100 yards receiving.
