Darryl Williams, Football, 1989-1991
Williams was a part of the 1989 and 1991 National Championship teams. He had eight interceptions in three seasons, including returning one for a touchdown in 1991. He was a consensus All-American that season and a first team All-Big East. He led the Miami secondary with 84 tackles, including 18 in the ‘Canes 17-16 victory in the Wide Right I game against Florida State.

Williams was a first round pick on the Cinncinnati Bengals in the 1992 NFL Draft. He played ten seasons in the NFL with the Bengals and Seattle Seahawks. Williams finished his career with 31 interceptions, four returned for touchdowns, 15 fumble recoveries and ten forced fumbles.
