Dan Davies, Baseball, 1983-1986

Davies was a left-handed pitcher. His 41 wins rank third all-time in school history. He was the ace of the Hurricanes 1985 National Championship team. He finished 1985 with a 15-2 record and a 2.66 ERA. He also had a 14 game winning streak.

In 22 starts, Davies pitched 138 innings, had 105 strikeouts and three shutouts. The Hurricanes advanced to the CWS with Davies as the team leader in victories from 1983-85. Per the baseball cube, Davies never pitched professionally.
